On 6 and 7 November 2025 Devhook was at Startup Nights in Winterthur, Switzerland's largest startup event, with more than 9,000 investors, founders and ecosystem players in two days. It is the natural place for us: a good part of our clients are Swiss, and Zürich is one of the cities the founders work from.
Among the meetings of those two days, one mattered to Philip more than the others: JT Foxx, one of the best-known entrepreneurs and business coaches worldwide. Philip grew up working in his family's Italian restaurant, between school and late shifts, and started Devhook with an idea few people believed in at the time. Standing next to someone he had followed for years was a confirmation that the work is going somewhere.
Next stop: Los Angeles
The following week Devhook flew to Los Angeles for Mega Speaker, one of the largest stages in the entrepreneur world. Not a sales trip: a way to see how companies present themselves on a bigger market, and to bring back what applies to a software house of our size.
Progress, for a young company, is rarely a giant leap. It is a sequence of rooms you decide to walk into.
