Cookie policy

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to keep, and to send back on later visits. Local storage is a similar mechanism where the browser keeps a value for a site without sending it to the server. Both can be used to remember settings, to keep you logged in, or, on many sites, to track what you do across pages and services.

This site uses only technical storage, strictly necessary or useful to provide what you asked for:

• lang, a cookie: the language you picked in the selector at the top of the page, so the site opens in it next time. Set only when you change the language; kept for one year; sent to our server with every request, where it is read only to choose the language.
• devhook:consent, in local storage: the choice you made in the cookie banner (accept all, or only necessary) and when you made it. Never sent to a server; kept until you clear your browser data, so the banner does not come back on every visit.
• devhook:turni:attribution, in session storage, only on our campaign pages (/turni): the campaign parameters of the link you arrived from (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content and the click identifiers fbclid, li_fat_id, gclid). They are kept until you close the tab and leave your browser only if you send one of the forms on those pages, as part of that request.
• Technical cookies that the hosting provider may set to deliver the site securely and consistently, for the duration of the visit.
• Only after "Accept all": the Google Analytics cookies _ga (2 years) and _ga_* (2 years), set by Google to tell visits apart in aggregate statistics; the IP address is anonymised. Nothing of this is set before your choice.

That is all. Before your choice there are no analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting pixels, no social media plug-ins that phone home, and no third-party trackers. Visit counting is done by Umami, on our own server, without cookies and without any identifier that follows you across sites. Videos are hosted on our own domain, not on video platforms. Fonts are served from our own domain, not from font services.

Under Italian law (Article 122 of Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended) and the guidelines of the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali of 10 June 2021, technical cookies and equivalent storage do not require consent; consent is needed only for non-technical cookies such as analytics or advertising. This site uses technical storage only; your choice governs one thing, whether your visits are counted.

The banner records your preference: "Accept all" or "Only necessary". Umami, on our own server and without cookies, counts visits either way, and counts the choice itself as a number. Google Analytics, with its cookies, loads only for visitors who chose "Accept all"; with "Only necessary" it is never loaded. Should we add other non-technical tools in the future, they will follow the same choice, and this page will be updated first. You can change your choice at any time by clearing the site data in your browser, which brings the banner back.

The assistant keeps the conversation in the memory of your browser tab only, without cookies or local storage. Closing the tab ends it. How the messages are processed is described in the Privacy policy.

You can clear the stored language preference, and any cookie, at any time from your browser settings (usually under Privacy, Site data or Clear browsing data). Blocking all storage does not prevent the site from working: the language simply resets to English on the next visit.
